    • His father, Brian Haner Sr., is an accomplished musician and comedian. Brian has three siblings: McKenna, Brent, and Johnny (not to be confused with former bassist Johnny Christ).

    Education and Early Career

    Brian showed an early aptitude for music, particularly guitar playing.

    He enrolled in the Musicians Institute in Hollywood to pursue a degree in jazz guitar but left after six months. During this time, he received an invitation from his former high school friend, The Rev, to join his band, Avenged Sevenfold.
